Junior Art Director, Social | Los Angeles, CA

 Type: Part-Time (8–15 hours/week)

We’re seeking a highly creative and organized Junior Art Director to join our team on a part-time, in person basis. This role is ideal for someone with a strong visual point of view, a passion for home and lifestyle brands, and a deep understanding of how to translate brand identity across various channels, especially on social media. Working directly with our founder, you’ll be an important part of creating the magical world of Heather Taylor Home!

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategize, concept, and execute compelling creative content for social media channels that aligns with the brand’s tone and aesthetic.

  • Shoot behind the scenes footage on photoshoots and assist with on set art direction and prop styling.

  • Ideate and develop visual storylines and campaigns that resonate with our audience across Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest.

  • Collaborate on the development of email marketing by conceptualizing engaging newsletter layouts and passing them along to our email graphic designer.

  • Contribute to a broader content strategy by identifying ways to adapt creative assets across all brand touch points, including digital, print, advertising, and email.

  • Stay ahead of trends in design, social media, and the home & lifestyle space to continuously bring fresh, innovative ideas to the table.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in a creative role, ideally within the home, lifestyle, or CPG space

  • Strong design sensibility with a portfolio that showcases a range of work across social and digital platforms

  • Confident in concepting and storyboarding, with a collaborative approach to feedback and iteration

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), Canva, or similar design tools

  • Excellent communication and time management skills

Freelance Email Graphic Designer | Remote

Type: Freelance / Part-Time

Schedule: 5 emails per week (with additional opportunities during holiday periods at an increased rate) 

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and creatively-driven Email Graphic Designer to bring our newsletters to life. This freelance role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of email design best practices, a sharp eye for layout and typography, and the ability to work within established brand systems to create cohesive, beautiful, and high-performing email content.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and build 5 branded email newsletters per week, creating visually compelling layouts that drive engagement and conversions

  • Translate our brand identity and aesthetic into thoughtful, on-brand email designs that align seamlessly with our social, web, and print channels

  • Maintain and evolve the look and feel of our email communications to reflect seasonal campaigns, product launches, and overall marketing initiatives

  • Collaborate closely with the creative and marketing teams to interpret content and write copy for strategic, high-impact designs

  • Use Klaviyo to build, test, and optimize responsive email templates for both desktop and mobile

  • Ensure all emails adhere to best practices for deliverability, accessibility, and user experience

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in email design, preferably within the home,
    lifestyle, fashion space

  • Proficiency in Klaviyo and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

  • Strong understanding of brand systems and the ability to apply tone and visual identity consistently across campaigns

  • A portfolio showcasing engaging and on-brand email design work

  • Highly detail-oriented with excellent communication skills and the ability to meet quick turnarounds

Part-Time Fulfillment Coordinator | Los Angeles, CA

Heather Taylor Home is seeking a Part-Time Fulfillment Coordinator, the primary point of contact in the fulfillment of all eCommerce orders for our rapidly growing business and playing a key role into our customer’s experience from the moment they first open their package. The ideal candidate has an intuitive sense of elegance and precision and will immediately report any issues with a product. Attention to detail, accuracy, and maintaining efficiency are important qualities for success in this position. We are looking for someone to bring energy and positivity to our growing team. You will also work the sales floor as needed assisting customers with any questions or help they may need as well as check them out with our ShopifyPOS system. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the shipping department

  • Handle all customer service inquiries regarding shipping 

  • Maintain, monitor and re-order shipping supplies as needed

  • Keep a clean and organized work space

  • Provide a positive and personalized level experience for our customers

  • Audit inventory on a regular basis to maintain accurate inventory counts

  • Assisting our team receive and organize new stock 

  • All HTH employees must be knowledgeable and personable in assisting in store customers and operating our ShopifyPOS system to check out customers

  • Process returns and put back stock 

Skills and Proficiencies

  • Positive, professional, and friendly

  • Proficient working with Mac OS, Google Drive, and Excel

  • Familiarity with Shopify Ecommerce / POS is preferred, but not required

  • Must be positive and flexible in work style

  • Strong problem solving skills, independent work style and high attention to detail

  • Extremely well-organized and able to multitask effectively

  • Self-motivated with a dedicated work ethic

  • Prior experience in order fulfillment, inventory management, sales and/or customer service is preferred but not required

Work Schedule Requirements: 

  • Must be available 3 - 4 days a week working 8 hours each day
